   Current MS/Finance students have undergraduate and, in many cases, graduate degrees in varied fields of study, including mathematics, economics, finance, engineering and science. While not necessarily required, we encourage that students have successfully completed course work in subjects such as linear algebra, differential equations, computer programming and multivariate calculus.
   
   In addition, a working knowledge of computer programming (MATLAB, C++, Java) and of statistical/econometric packages (SAS, RATS, SPSS) is strongly recommended. Thus, we encourage students with substantial quantitative backgrounds, in particular those with MS or PhD degrees in mathematics, engineering, economics, etc., to apply.

   附（一个学生的总结）：该校的优势主要是综合ranking，地理位置，program的flexibility等因素考虑的。虽然MAcc是比较新的一个program，但是基于WUSTL和Olin的实力，项目的发展前景还是很不错的。说到地理位置，其实St.Louis的位置还可以，虽然不是大城市，但也不至于是大农村，属于中型城市，基本上四大会计师事务所和500强公司都有。这个城市黑人比较多，不过和芝加哥一样，要看地区的，学校周围还是很安全的，不要到delmar以北就好了，当然，这个东圣就更不要去莱。一年四季分明，气候和上海差不多，除了比较干（美国貌似都蛮干的）。WUSTL学校不是很大，但学术力量很强，教授个个背景很牛。这个program可以选择一年或者一年半，找到工作了么就一年可以毕业了，找不到可以改成一年半的，第二年还能继续找，可以根据自己的情况选择program的长短。不过一年的话，课程还是很紧张的，不亚于MBA的学习强度。
   课程安排上，我觉得MAcc可以选课是一件很好的事情，Olin里里MSF的同学们就出有很大的选择余地了啊。教授的配备上，MAcc出有MSF的多，这也是和program大小有关的，毕竟MAcc的人要少很多。选择一年半的同学，学校有安排无薪实习的，在一些不错的local公司里，算是帮助增长经验吧。
   个人觉得Olin的申请相对不是很麻烦，连推荐信也可以不用交。WUSTL在学校宣传方里不是特别好，是所超级牛校，但是近年来才开始知名度有提高。现在申请人多了，这个条件自然水涨船高，一般大陆过去的，GMAT>700，T>100可能性才会比较大。
   从招生人数来看，逐渐在增加，我们是30-40个人，中国人10来个，大陆直接过去的10个不到点吧。工作经验不是特别重要，但有帮助，尤其是好的实习经验。
   我的背景：GMAT720+，TOEFL100+，GPA3.8+，多家500强公司实习经验，活动还算丰富吧，有交流学生的经验
   我们学校的MSF很好的，介于general finance和financial engineering之间，会有数理编程，好不好申请这个很难说啊，去年一G750的学妹被wait，要综合看的吧。不过很鼓励大家申请，学习很有价值，实习和就业都不错。
   （1）Olin的MSF竞争蛮激烈的，但中国人招的还是很多的，现在在扩张，由于和复旦合作MBA，所以复旦的小同伙竞争上有优势噢。但Olin出有中国名校情结，也可以说因为它知道的中国高校不多，除了几所大家都知道的（北大清华复旦交大中科大），其他一视同仁。
   （2）技术性是比较强的，所以基础不好的小同伙最好提前看下相关内容。
   （3）Olin在国内的名气属于上升阶段，由于学校marketing做得不够到位，虽然是牛校但是名气还出有UIUC等学校高。近几年因为中国学生开始招得多了，名气逐渐扩大。纽约华尔街、芝加哥等地过来的人应该知道这个学校的情况的。
   Olin MAcc, MSF出有奖学金，MBA有全奖的。生活成本很低很低，一个月房租只要400刀左右，gas和electricity一个月100刀不到（看具体多少人合租多少人分，冬天和夏天会变化），自己做饭加上水果牛奶酸奶零食等差不多一个月150刀，其他的要看你怎么用了啊。学费一年比一年高了，现在的行情是2010-2011学年每学分1335刀，MAcc和MSF的总学费都是$44,055（先修课程另算）。
3. 波士顿学院Boston College

8. 杜兰大学Tulane University
   

   Master of Finance

   The Tulane Finance programs offer students an exciting opportunity to study in intimate, high quality, internationally recognized programs. The Master of Finance (MFIN) program is offered at Tulane's New Orleans and Houston campuses. These two MFIN programs are similar in admission requirements, curricula, course content, and faculty. The programs differ in format, flexibility, and location

   The New Orleans MFIN program is an intensive full-time program, with new enrollments starting each July. Student complete 34 credit hours over 11 months and graduates earn a Master of Finance degree.

   The Houston MFIN program is held on alternate weekends over 14-months. Classes begin each January. Students are able to maintain full-time careers. The curriculum is lock-step and students follow a preset schedule.

   Completed applications are processed throughout the year as they are received. International students who miss the deadline are required to submit to Temple University an evaluation of their transcript by an approved educational evaluation firm.

   Standardized Test Scores:

   The GRE/GMAT is required. Quantitative and verbal scores on the GRE should be in the 50th percentile or above. Scores under 550 on the GMAT are not considered acceptable for the M.S. program.

   Minimum TOEFL score needed to be accepted: 550 paper-based, 213 computer-based, or 79 internet-based.

10. 雪城大学Syracuse University

    The Whitman MS in Finance can be completed with 30 credits (typically one year) by students with academic backgrounds in finance, economics, accounting, and business. Students without academic backgrounds in these areas should expect to take up to an additional nine hours of foundation courses as part of the program. The MS Finance program advisor reviews each student’s academic background and designs a program personally suited for the student.
